While we are searching high and low for the best deals around we are also visiting salons and spas so we can tell YOU all about them. On Thursday the 28th of January, I was lucky enough to go to Bravo Salon and Spa to check it out.
Bravo Salon and Spa is in Scottsdale right off of Scottsdale Road and Shea. The salon is conveniently located and has great energy. The Bravo team is made up of extremely educated cosmetologist, an aestitician, massage therapist and a nail tech. I was invited to Bravo Salon and Spa by Alicia Bravo, senior cosmetologist and owner. When I arrived Alicia welcomed me and made me feel right at home. She then assessed my hair and decided to apply a MOROCCANOIL® Restorative Hair Mask. This particular mask is rich in protein and argan-oil, it is made to restore hair’s elasticity and rebuild strength while repairing damage caused by chemicals (bleach in my case) and other environmental factors.
While my hair mask was processing Alicia walked me around the salon to show me the treatment rooms, introduce me to their friendly staff and educated me on their exclusive product lines. Alicia also educated me on two of her specialty treatments, the Japanese Hair Straightening System and the Brazilian Keratin Treatment. Both treatments are pretty intense, in order to perform the treatments Alicia was certified and maintains her certification by attending classes every 6 months in Beverly Hills.
After Alicia educated me on Bravo’s product lines, I was able to relax for a bit while my treatment processed. Alicia kept busy with a consultation for a Brazilian Keratin Treatment. When I was done processing Alicia’s daughter rinsed my hair out and walked me back to Alicia’s station for my blowout. She used the Kevin Murphy styling products and her round brush to complete the BEST blow out and style my hair has ever seen. My hair looked awesome and felt silky smooth and completely restored.
